ABOUT ME

Christy - Ng Hoi Ching - is a Hong Kong based artist and photographer, who is currently studying for a BA in Fine Art at Birmingham City University.

 

Christy uses documentary photography to explore complex social issues that draw on her own family background and personal experiences. The intention is to open up a dialogue with her audience, allowing them to reflect on their own relationships and position within society. Her current work explores tattooing culture and the clichéd reactions it generates within Chinese society.

作為一個生活在電子世代的人，我喜歡利用攝影來紀錄日常生活，用我的角度拍攝周圍的事物。

我喜歡用黑色和白色作為我藝術創作的顏色，因為我喜歡黑白對每個觀眾都有不同感覺的方式。

這是我的風格- 黑色和白色是我最喜歡的顏色。
