STRANGER

I was fascinated by the Umbrella Movement in Hong Kong from 2014. It came as a big surprise to me as I could not understand how so many strangers could come together and unite around a single cause. Hong Kong can feel like a hard city, the people can be cold and detached and yet for this brief period in 2014 they came together in an unexpected way. My photographs attempt to show this unity in thought and direction.
